Game On.

Expanding opportunities for sport, recreation and community

The renderings shown above and below are conceptual and may vary from what is depicted.

Pitt Meadows Athletic Park Expansion Project

Exciting improvements are underway at Pitt Meadows Athletic Park as the City invests in new spaces for recreation, organized sport, and community connection. The Athletic Park Expansion Project is designed to create a more complete and flexible sports hub that supports a wide range of activities for residents of all ages. At the heart of the project is a new covered multi sport box that will create valuable year-round space for dry-floor activities. This flexible amenity is intended to support lacrosse, floor hockey, pickleball, and other dry floor sports, helping meet growing demand for casual play, practices, and community programming. The expansion also features a new double artificial turf field, creating significantly more room for outdoor sport and recreation. With space to support soccer field use, baseball diamond configurations, and field lighting, the new facility will help increase play capacity and improve access for user groups, athletes, and families throughout the community. To support these upgrades, the project also includes a new washroom and changeroom building, improved site access and circulation and other park amenities that will make the athletic park more welcoming, functional, and convenient for players and spectators alike. Together, these improvements will strengthen Pitt Meadows Athletic Park as a destination for community sport and active living for years to come. This project received funding from the BC Growing Communities Fund.
